ABOUT
Rodeo Beach represents the brilliant musical collaboration between Brian Fraser and Abby Rosewood. Rodeo Beach is also a beautiful cove on the Pacific coast north of San Francisco, where these two artists met in a random encounter while Abby was on holiday and Brian was hiking with his dog, Diego.
After sharing platitudes and pleasantries, their discussion led to their mutual admiration of Brian Wilson and their own musical endeavors. They were surprised to learn that they had both been writing songs since they were fourteen years old and had been in various bands that had never amounted to much.
Abby shared with Brian her AirPods so that he could listen to Abby’s songs and expansive harmonies. Brian was beyond impressed and mumbled something about working on music together. Abby smiled politely and stated that she prefers to work alone on her own music.
Abby flew home to London the next day thinking that her time with Brian and Diego would be relegated to one of those carefree memories that fades in time.
After completing production on 13 new songs, Brian realized his songs desperately needed harmonies that only Abby could provide. Using his unparalleled cyberstalking skills, Brian discovered Abby’s whereabouts and contacted her. Abby fondly remembered Diego on Rodeo Beach running through the waves. With much convincing, Abby was persuaded to listen to Brian’s songs and apparently liked what she heard.
The two artists then worked together to complete the production of the first Rodeo Beach album with Abby adding amazing vocals and harmonies to each song. Fittingly, the name of this album and virtual band is Rodeo Beach.
